The show must go on

We had a power outage today for about 2 hours. Initially, it was a little exciting since students were using the computer and had not saved their documents but then we all settled in to life without electric lights. The students learned that their text books do not require electricity. One student asked "What did scientists do before there was electricity?" Well...they invented electricity.

  1. That looks like an interesting website. I appreciate the wealth of information that has been brought to my attention through these blogs. During the class sessions I hear of all of the cool resources that our peers have been discovering, but it is nice to have a place to refer to. I plan on taking a closer look when things slow down a bit.

  2. They did invent electricity! I love it.

This reminds me of something I do: often in my effort to avoid being a "textbook 'n lecture" teacher that I don't utilize those resources enough. Perhaps we need some lights to go out over here in Central Oregon so I can go back to my roots.
